Thor & Hammer - No Metal

Originally both our Thor & Hammer barriers implemented steel legs and rivets within its construction. However, these unprecedented times have seen costs and lead times dramatically increase for metal, and we saw this as a key time to take advantage of the situation. We have developed our very own HDPE leg which provides the same high performance and strength, with increased safety in Barrier collisions.

Barrier Hook

All Hooks are manufactured from Polypropylene and attached with the use of Tri-fold rivets allowing a quick and easy connection from barrier to barrier.

Barrier Tube

We have designed and engineered our very own barrier foot manufactured from HDPE at the Melba Swintex factory, providing the same high-quality performance as its metal counterpart.

Cylinders That Like to Flex Their Stuff

Melba Swintex Cylinders
The Cylinder range from Melba Swintex is a quick-to-install, simple solution for a temporary walkway, cycle lane, or similar. The highly durable Cats-Eye Base secures into the ground, and with a simple twist, the cylinder is locked into position. All cylinders come supplied with a highly prismatic sleeve which gives a complete 360° visual indication, with the option of custom printing if desired.

Swinbac
SWINBAC

 

A self-righting Cylinder with little to no maintenance required. The construction at the base of each Swinbac Cylinder implements an elastic banding housed within a tough and durable chamber. When the Cylinder is hit at with force, the elastic allows the Cylinder to flex over on itself, and then immediately self-right to its vertical position.

Kingpin
KINGPIN

 

A lightweight cylinder that is perfect for managing the direction of traffic. Manufactured to be tough and durable, with little to no maintenance. The Kingpin is the simplest of Cylinders, designed to release when struck with impact, which can then easily be reinstalled once again. A permanent lock can also be implemented if required.

Flexi
FLEXI

 

The Flexi Cylinder is a one-piece Cylinder that is capable to self-right when struck with force. Its concertina like design allows material to compress at the base of the Cylinder from any angle, then due to the memory of the material, returns to its original form.

ARIANE & PHOENIX

 

The Ariane implements the twist-lock mechanism seen on the existing Cylinder range allowing the Cylinder to be locked into the Melba Swintex Cats-Eye Base, whereas the Phoenix has a flat base bundled with a locking bolt and nut. Handles have been implemented to allow greater grip for when attaching the Cylinders to their base, as well as the option to emboss with company branding.

All Cats-Eye Bases can be supplied with anchor bolts, or adhesive pads to ease the installation.
